About The Artist

West Sussex-based artist Sheri Gee has been developing her art practice over the last 20 years, after graduating from the Kent Institute of Art and Design with a Degree in Illustration.

Much of her work is rooted in the figurative and portraiture, having spent many years experimenting with different materials and mediums at life-drawing sessions.

Art Group / Exhibitions

Sheri is a member of Example Art Group - Contemporary Art East Grinstead.

She was one of 21 finalists in the 2018 Holly Bush Emerging Woman Painter Prize; has been longlisted in the Jackson's Art Open Prize and has exhibited with the Society of Women Artists and the Chelsea Art Society. Sheri also exhibits with several local art groups.
