My name is Catherine Belcher and I am a professional artist from
Forest Row in
East Sussex. I specialise in acrylic paint on canvas and I would describe my style as abstract, colourful, crazy and exciting.
Abstract and Realist qualities combine to create a colourful burst of energy and excitement, including elements of nature, fantasy and time.
I have just started selling prints of my canvases on Etsy (under the name of Painting Aquarius).
Some of my favourite pieces, as they are all inspired by holidays and scenery.

Whilst my preferred medium is oils, I do experiment with different techniques, from building up layers to a more alla prima approach, depending on the desired outcome, time and style preference.
