About The Artist

A self taught artist, Glen has painted and drawn from an early age. He has gained inspiration from the natural landscape; wide open spaces, coast, moorlands and the Downs. Glen enjoys sketching and painting places which he visited as a child and more recently with his own family.

Working mainly in acrylics, Glen seeks to capture atmosphere, mood and light in his paintings. His style is meticulously detailed and this is achieved through a combination of accurate drawing skills, followed by overpainting using pallet knife work and base colours to influence the layers above.

About The Artist

David is largely self-taught and has developed his own recognisable style. He has reached a stage where his work is attracting attention at local exhibitions. He enjoys painting a wide variety of subjects using traditional methods but particularly enjoys painting landscapes and buildings combined with a use of strong colour.

David now has his own website which has the full range of his art work, including a Surrey Scenes Collection, a set of Venice & Florence Paintings, and a Gallery of his other art. Most paintings are available as high quality, limited edition giclee prints.

About The Artist

Chris has been painting since his school days and after a career in design and marketing, now paints full time from his studio in South Devon.
Most of his paintings are of the countryside and coastline of southern England where he tries to capture the beauty and sometimes the savagery of the changing seasons.

He works mainly in oils and tends to use the palette knife in preference to the brush, as he likes the depth and richness of colour this offers.
His work is in private collections in both the US and Europe.

About The Artist

I am a self-taught artist, painting for over10 years. I enjoy working in both watercolour, and more recently, acrylics. I tend, being primarily a watercolour artist, to use similar techniques when painting in acrylics and enjoy the boldness of their colours and the vibrancy they produce. I have no formal artistic training, but merely took up the brush when diagnosed with an illness which incapacitated me for a time. I enjoy painting local scenes in watercolour, but most of my acrylics come from the brush itself.
