About The Artist

I am a self taught animal artist with a deep love for all kinds of wildlife. My passion for animals is expressed using a unique style of combining watercolour paint with oil based colour pencils or just purely colour pencils. Many of my chosen subjects are of endangered or vulnerable species as I like to use my art as a platform to raise awareness for them. I also donate original artwork to various animal charities to raise vital funds. I accept commissions and also sell Fine Art limited edition Giclee prints. I was a finalist in 2020’s prestigious David Shepherd Wildlife Artist of the Year competition.

About The Artist

I have been painting seriously since 1990, concentrating mainly in Kent, Surrey and Sussex. My favourite subjects are Sporting Action, Landscapes and Portraits of people and animals. The football action paintings have taken me all over the country from Plymouth in Devon all the way East, to Ipswich in Suffolk. I also enjoy murals; work of any size is undertaken! All work is taken from sittings, sketches and photographs.

Although Sussex based, I travel world-wide to meet the subject and prepare any drafts before commencing a commission.
Working in the following mediums: Water Colour, Oils, Acrylics, Pastels, Pen and Pencil. Applied on Canvas, Paper, Cardboard, Hardboard, Wood and Plastered surfaces.

My favourite British Artists are Constable, Gainsborough and Richard Stone.

Drawing: The Lifeboat, Selsey

“This is a one-off drawing of ‘The Lifeboat’ where I live in Selsey. It has been a landmark in Selsey for generations. In 2015, there were talks of taking down this scenery and replacing it with something else. In commemoration for this beautiful scene, I took my own original photograph and drew it on A1 canvas. It was a long project, but will be a beautiful memory in the event ‘The Lifeboat’ is replaced or altered.”

About The Artist

I am a self-taught artist residing in the Selsey area. I have been drawing portraits for over 5 years and am developing my skills continuously. I hope to one day own an art gallery, displaying works of all artists who cannot get their work into higher valued galleries. This is in order to promote art from lesser-known artists who are looking to break through, much like myself.

My drawings are all done using graphite and on occasion, biro, to give a bold effect to fine art drawings. I take portraiture requests and charge £50.00 per drawing including any postage and packaging within the UK. I have found that my customers are very pleased with the end result and a portrait makes a perfect gift.

If you wish to request a portrait of a loved one or celebrity, please contact me via email or via my Facebook page. Simply attach the photo you would like for me to draw and request size A2 or A3 card for your picture. Once I have finished the portrait, I will email a photo of the drawing for your approval. No drawing will be sent or money transaction made until you are happy with the final product.

About The Artist

I am a Russian-born multi-media artist based in East Sussex.

From an early age, I was exposed to art culture and studied fine art in musical school back in my home town in Russia at the age of 8 - 9, before moving to England.

Intuitively, I was always drawn to art and decided to take fine art in school at GSCE, passing with an A* grade to further my learning.  At this moment, I couldn’t find my voice in art and began exploring other mediums such as graphic design, clay making, photography and much more.

That period helped me form my understanding and relationship with art as a whole, creating confidence and voice, helping me use paint as my own language to speak to the inner and outer world.
