My main influences are cats – the bigger the better – and humans and sometimes trying to combine the two. I keep telling myself that I must try other things and maybe one day I will.

About The Artist

I have been painting seriously since 1990, concentrating mainly in Kent, Surrey and Sussex. My favourite subjects are Sporting Action, Landscapes and Portraits of people and animals. The football action paintings have taken me all over the country from Plymouth in Devon all the way East, to Ipswich in Suffolk. I also enjoy murals; work of any size is undertaken! All work is taken from sittings, sketches and photographs.

Although Sussex based, I travel world-wide to meet the subject and prepare any drafts before commencing a commission.
Working in the following mediums: Water Colour, Oils, Acrylics, Pastels, Pen and Pencil. Applied on Canvas, Paper, Cardboard, Hardboard, Wood and Plastered surfaces.

My favourite British Artists are Constable, Gainsborough and Richard Stone.

Art Group / Exhibitions

Member of the Wannock Artists (WA), East Sussex. Meeting at Wannock Village Hall last Friday of every month.
