About The Artist

I have only been painting a few years and started after giving up full time work. One day I heard about the Art Academy, in Horsham, luckily gained a place, and was inspired to start. Painting has now gained a permanent place in my life.

My main influences are cats – the bigger the better – and humans and sometimes trying to combine the two. I keep telling myself that I must try other things and maybe one day I will.

About The Artist

I have been painting seriously since 1990, concentrating mainly in Kent, Surrey and Sussex. My favourite subjects are Sporting Action, Landscapes and Portraits of people and animals. The football action paintings have taken me all over the country from Plymouth in Devon all the way East, to Ipswich in Suffolk. I also enjoy murals; work of any size is undertaken! All work is taken from sittings, sketches and photographs.

Although Sussex based, I travel world-wide to meet the subject and prepare any drafts before commencing a commission.
Working in the following mediums: Water Colour, Oils, Acrylics, Pastels, Pen and Pencil. Applied on Canvas, Paper, Cardboard, Hardboard, Wood and Plastered surfaces.

My favourite British Artists are Constable, Gainsborough and Richard Stone.

Member of the Wannock Artists (WA), East Sussex. Meeting at Wannock Village Hall last Friday of every month.

About The Artist

I am a French artist based in Worthing, West Sussex.

I draw the inner life – the invisible world of dreams, feelings and inner experiences. Some of my images come to me in dreams and others appear in waking life. My artwork is about inner listening and perceiving and giving form to fleeting images, which seem to belong to the life of a mysterious, invisible reality which I cannot express with ordinary language. My art images tell the story of my inner journey and for me, form a bridge between the inner world and the outer world.

I use watercolour pencils, soft pastels and ink to give form to the ‘unseen‘ and occasionally clay. Since Summer 2012, I have been using new media for my art and images: Sea shells and small pebbles, which I collect from Worthing beach and the banks of the River Adur in Shoreham-by-Sea.
